Giraffe Watercolor

This was my third quilt. Inspired by a 1996 trip to Kenya I took with my mom, aunt, uncle and two cousins. I loved the giraffes. Despite their size, they look so graceful in their natural environment. This was made as a gift for my mom. It now hangs in her family room, which is decorated in an African motif.
