Maricyasana

This piece started as a doodle that must have been inspired by my spine. I have had lower back pain for a number of years and therefore I am very aware of my back. . Even though the spine was the inspiration this piece is not about pain. It’s happy, colorful, vibrant and was fun to make. It is named Maricyasana after a seated yoga pose that involves twisting and stretching the back.
