What's newPhotography On The Water: A Hands-On WorkshopPart of Canoecopia 2012 Taking photographs from a kayak or canoe offers an excellent vantage point to capture the outdoors from a unique perspective. Learn about the latest products and techniques to safely use your camera in a wet environment. Then, we will get hands-on and explore the technical side of how to move beyond the “auto” setting to get better control of your photos. Through the use of slide show photos, we’ll simulate the outdoors and practice changing aperture, shutter speed, and ISO to control the camera for various situations. The simulation will be geared toward SLR users, but point and shoot cameras are welcome as well. Please bring your camera with fully charged battery and instruction manual.
